Quick comment note

I killed a number of comments on the TDN – Mata Hari thread.  A couple of reasons:

1.  They were coming from the same IP address.
2.  Others reported similar issues promoting a specific absinthe.

So – yeah.  If you can prove all four of those e-mail addresses from the Los Angeles area IP addresses are real, I’ll reconsider.

But until then – an absinthe comment is not there to spam us with, and I’ll remember that from now on.

    I had the same thing happen on my site, and I’d bet a shiny nickel it was the same person promoting the same absinthe.

    Same thing for me–on Drinks for the House. I let the first one slide, but then deleted it after I got 4 more just like it.
